Personal Assistant to Entertainment Executive
ConfidentialLos Angeles, CA
Part Time Job
Eccentric entertainment executive looking for an admin-focused personal assistant to help out on both personal and corporate matters. This executive is a successful startup founder and a well-connected consumer entrepreneur, but is also always late to his meetings and doesn't know how to iron a shirt. The right fit will be an easy-going, judgment-free individual who utilizes common sense, has close attention to detail, and a ''no job too small'' attitude.
Duties will include assisting with all areas of the executive's life, including collating mail, scanning bills, and making sure his personal life runs smoothly to assist in running a more productive professional life. The executive has set a team of bookkeepers, accountants, and other senior-level executives working in support roles around him, so this position requires assisting him in communicating better with them. The right person will be a straightforward lateral thinker, have a no-nonsense attitude, can always play the devil's advocate, and is also able to have a laugh. Experience with Excel, Word, Google email, and instant messaging needed: a love for dogs, cats, travel, all things nice, and an appreciation for the arts would be ideal.
We are looking for someone who enjoys what they do, as we aim to cultivate a happy environment.
This position will work on an hourly basis and start 1-2 days a week, with room to grow. Contact hours with the executive will generally be from 3 PM - 8 PM Sunday through Thursday as he works across a few time zones. Looking for an LA-based candidate, as while it is not a prerequisite the executive would work better with someone who can meet in person to discuss ideas (COVID-19 permitting) for an hour or two a week.
If interested, please send your resume and more importantly 1-2 paragraphs on why you're interested and how you can be the right fit.
