This internship offers a unique opportunity to work alongside an up and coming artist. The artist was a speaker & performer at TEDx 2017 conference in Chicago and Talks@Google in Mountain View, California. She has performed at several venues including The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.. ABC7 Chicago featured her, showcasing her journey on their Emmy award winning show 'Asian Influences'. Her songs have appeared on NPR, SXSW 2018 & 2019 Official Spotify playlist and several radio stations all over USA.
This Social Media Marketing position provides meaningful and productive work that allows you to build your resume, experience and develop your skills further. You will be provided with challenging tasks, real-world experience, and valuable educational opportunities.
Responsibilities
+ Develop social media strategies with the artist
+ Help create content calendars
+ Create organic and creative content which could include design, copy and video
+ Implement social media campaigns, engage our audiences, monitor interactions, reply to comments/messages and review analytics
+ Schedule and post on social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
+ Research influencers pertaining to the music industry
+ Track the growth and the impact of social media
+ Implement preliminary keyword and interest research to develop new audiences
+ Assist with company social media content as needed
Requirements
+ strong interest in the music, social media, and marketing
+ experience in social media marketing (facebook, instagram and youtube)
+ excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ excellent research skills to identify key contacts in the industry
+ basic computer skills (excel, google documents)
+ must be friendly, independent, aggressive, and has the ability to work as part of a team
