Great PAID podcast internship opportunity!! Join two dynamic women in their startup venture.
About us: Our podcast is a mindful 30-minute bedtime ritual for children to help them peacefully fall asleep. The podcast is designed to enhance the nap-time or bedtime experience with kid-friendly affirmations, grounding techniques, stories, science, and meditation. This podcast is created to work with parents to create an interactive yet calm atmosphere between parents and their children. We engage their imagination beyond the screen in this rich audio-only podcast.
This is hosted by an Academy Award-winning actress and her niece, an audio content director.
Duties for intern will consist of, but are not limited to:
- Scheduling meetings, coordinating production, and other office duties
- Intern should expect to dedicate about 16 hours a week on this project
- Doing research including; finding recording studios, getting the latest news from the newest trends such as podcasts, digital, and streaming
- Research public domain children stories that can be read on the show
- assist with graphics and social media
- Participate and sit in creative meetings
- No job too big, no job too small mindset
Preferred Skills
• Broadcast Journalism or interest in podcast industry
• Excellent interpersonal and interviewing skills
• Previous podcast experience a plus
• Experience in graphic design and social media
• Fluent in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
Additional notes:
NOTE: This internship is approximately a 16 hour-a-week paid summer 3 month internship that is remote. The start date is flexible. It will provide you with a great opportunity to learn how to help build a podcast with reputable individuals. You will learn skills such as talent communications, gain essential podcast knowledge, and improve technical skills that will transfer to future career opportunities.
Ideal candidates will be working towards, or have completed a bachelor's degree in Communications, Radio, Television, Film, Media, Marketing, Business, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
