Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as an On-Air Radio DJ for our hip hop radio station. As key talent, you will be responsible for hosting and delivering engaging and entertaining content, with a specific focus on hip hop music, culture, and lifestyle. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for hip hop, a magnetic personality, and excellent communication skills. The position is remote and variable hours, pending experience and availability.

Responsibilities:
• Hosting Radio Shows: Conduct live on-air broadcasts, ensuring a smooth and seamless delivery of hip hop music, announcements, and promotions while creating an exciting and vibrant atmosphere that resonates with hip hop enthusiasts.

• Music Curation: Select and organize a wide range of hip hop tracks, including classic hits, emerging artists, and underground gems, to curate compelling playlists that cater to the tastes and preferences of our digital hip hop radio audience.

• On-Air Personality: Develop and maintain a unique on-air persona infused with hip hop energy, authenticity, and charisma. Connect with listeners through your voice, storytelling, and engaging banter, reflecting the culture and spirit of hip hop.

• Live Interviews and Guest Appearances: Conduct interviews with hip hop artists, producers, DJs, and influencers, showcasing their talent, discussing their craft, and providing insights into the hip hop scene. Prepare thoughtful questions and create engaging conversations that captivate the audience.

• Content Creation: Produce and edit audio content, such as artist spotlights, hip hop news segments, exclusive mixes, and interviews, to distribute on social media.

• Audience Interaction: Engage with listeners through social media platforms, live chat, and other digital communication channels. Foster a sense of community, respond to song requests, and participate in online discussions to build a strong and interactive hip hop fan base.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a radio DJ or on-air personality, with a focus on hip hop music, is preferred.
• Established social media presence on Twitter, IG, and/or more.
• Extensive knowledge of hip hop music genres, artists, and the culture surrounding it.
