New York Branch of Beverly Hills Management Company seeks Office Coordinator & Assistant to a Literary Manager. Genuine interest in and awareness of current talent (journalists, playwrights, authors, comedy writer/performers, filmmakers) and culture is required. Duties are twofold: Office Coordinator duties include greeting guests, answering the main line, stocking office and kitchen supplies, and floating on desks when needed; Assistant duties include making grids and calls, scouting potential client lists/festivals, and interacting with clients and executives. Candidates should be extremely Type-A, detail-oriented, organized, computer literate and possess a high level of initiative. Candidates should know how to prioritize, multitask, and complete tasks without guidance every step of the way.
Requirements:
• Must have previous experience on an assistant level (minimum 1 year)
• Be curious and highly motivated for long-term commitment in management
• Willing to go the extra mile and participate in the creative process
• College degree from an accredited school
• Excellent computer and communication skills
