Los Angeles based music production/publishing company is looking for an enthusiastic, self-starter who is very detail oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to learn fast.
Various duties and responsibilities would include but are not limited to: cue registrations with various publishing rights organizations (ASCAP,BMI, SESAC), creating client newsletters, catalog distribution to various sub-publishers and clients, assisting other team members with tasks, salesforce updates, preparing hard drives for clients, updating our licensing database, creating metadata templates and spreadsheets, overseeing office supply orders, answering phones, researching potential clients and new composers, as well as additional office duties when necessary.
The ideal candidate should be familiar microsoft excel and office word along with technology and resources related to the music and entertainment industries, such as various audio file formats and conversions, tagging audio files, media distribution and file transfers. Previous experience with Source Audio platform is also a huge plus but not necessary. Chosen candidate must have reliable transportation.
