We're looking for an organized, proactive Office Assistant to support our team's scheduling, daily office operations, and creative work. We are a brand new studio and this is an exciting time to join our team.
This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly and has a strong interest in storytelling and production. You'll help coordinate busy calendars, maintain an organized office, and contribute thoughtful coverage and feedback on projects in development and post-production.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling and administrative support
Manage calendars, schedule meetings and calls, and coordinate availability across internal teams and external partners.
Prepare meeting materials, take notes, and track follow-up items.
Assist with correspondence, travel arrangements, expense tracking, and other administrative needs.
Keep shared files, contact lists, and project materials organized and up to date.
Office operations:
Support day-to-day office needs, including supplies, deliveries, mail, and meeting room preparation.
Welcome guests and coordinate with vendors and building management.
Help organize team meetings, screenings, and occasional company events.
Handle confidential business and creative materials with discretion.
Creative support:
Read scripts and write clear, concise coverage, including synopses and assessments of story, character, dialogue, and audience appeal.
Review film cuts and provide constructive feedback on pacing, narrative clarity, character development, and emotional impact.
Research projects, talent, comparable titles, and other topics as needed.
Organize creative notes and help track materials and project updates.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
Ability to prioritize competing tasks, meet deadlines, and follow through reliably.
Sound judgment, discretion, and a collaborative approach.
A demonstrated interest in film, television, and storytelling, with the ability to explain creative feedback thoughtfully.
Comfort using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office and learning new scheduling and project tools.
Previous administrative, office, production, or entertainment internship experience is helpful but not required.
Salary/Benefits
$50,000 per year
No health benefits though expected to be offered in the future
