The Music Royalty Administrator will work within a small admin team, primarily handling royalty processing out of counterpoint, but also assisting with copyright registrations and dealing directly with artist/writer clients in the maintenance of their catalogues. This position reports to the Head of Administration, and will work across a number of different departments within the company. This is a purely business and not creative position.
We are looking for somebody who is driven and is a self starter. Candidates must be comfortable managing various large projects at the same time. General work hours are 10am to 6pm.
Responsibilities:
Manage royalty accounting for licensing and publishing clients
Issue various company reports such as licensing activity, revenue collections, NPS reports, accounts receivable, etc. as well as reporting to our joint venture partners
Assist the team on various other matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
2-3 years music publishing & royalties experience minimum
Must be proficient in Counterpoint / Music Maestro
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to multi-task
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication,
Must be organized and have a strong attention to detail.
Basic familiarity with Mac and Microsoft Office, including Excel
Familiarity with Quickbooks, Slack and Filemaker is a plus.
