This position will start off with a minimum 6 months contractor agreement, with a possibility of conversion to staff. This position will also be working remotely.
DESCRIPTION:
The Samsung global services team is responsible for driving gaming on Samsung devices, including Smart TVs.
The team is looking for a product marketing manager to help launch and grow world-class gaming experiences on Samsung Smart TVs.
The Gaming Marketing Manager role is newly created. You will work closely with the product and cross-functional teams to help launch, sustain, and grow the game services on Smart TVs. The role demands a mix of game industry knowledge and product growth marketing experience. Samsung Gaming is in the midst of an exciting period of growth and development, and seeks an experienced marketer who will drive sustained growth of the product on Smart TVs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Manage integrated marketing plans across paid, earned, and owned channels (corporate marketing, retail, packaging, .com) to grow adoption of Gaming.
-Manage and execute campaigns focused on driving awareness, acquisition, retention, and win-back across owned and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are on time and within scope.
-Sourcing, management, routing, and delivery of all creative assets, working with internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery and launches.
-Work with design resources and agencies for the creation and delivery of assets.
-Work with communications and customer services teams to deliver material.
-Website management, enhancements, and optimization.
-Maintain weekly campaign performance and marketing activity deck.
-Manage product branding and messaging.
-Strong partner or client management skills.
-Maintain essential campaign tracking documents including calendars, trackers, and creative assets.
-Own and manage the content calendar.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or similar field.
-3+ years working experience in gaming or entertainment; preferably in a subscription-based business.
-Deep knowledge of gaming space and how to optimize to drive performance across various campaign models and offers.
-Solid knowledge of best practices and trends among gaming industry.
-Experience in on-device campaigns, packaging, and working with retail channels.
-Flexibility & ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
-A team player attitude.
-A strong communicator with a can-do, positive attitude with an insatiable will to get stuff done.
-Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage workload.
-Attention to detail.
-A demonstrated passion for premium gaming.
-Prior experience in a creative agency, network, studio, or subscription service a plus.
