CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER
Seeking an experienced Content & Lead Generation Marketing Manager to help manage our content strategy and produce high-quality content that drives leads through the funnel. You have hands-on marketing program management experience as well as writing and editing experience, especially related to Virtual Reality, AI, Big Data and Machine Learning. You are self-starter known for your roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic and you are passionate about producing great content (even if you aren't the author). You are collaborative and able to influence your peers with educated decisions.
Responsibilities:
• Build and execute on a content
• Partner with product marketing, demand generation, channel marketing, product management and sales teams to create content that drives brand awareness and supports lead and demand generation goals
• Develop and maintain a rolling editorial calendar that supports our overall go-to-market strategy including demand generation and channel marketing initiatives
• Develop effective keyword targeting strategy, prioritizing SEO initiatives and recommendations from our 3rd party agency; execute on planned SEO tactics to maximize organic reach and engagement (Google Adwords, etc).
• Help launch paid social ad campaigns around releases, updates, news (FB and Linkedin)
• Coordinate with Head of Marketing Blog/White Paper strategy and expand our audience and reach through social channels
• Partner with product marketing and customer success teams to tap into our customers' success stories. Share their stories in the form of case studies, web content, blog posts, videos, and webinars.
• Partner with designers, freelancers and external stakeholders on content production
• Help manage outside creative producers
• Work with marketing lead to support contributed article placement and other awareness initiatives; write content on behalf of our executives and advisory board for publication on various media channels
• Leverage organic social media channels to optimize content distribution and gain brand awareness
Requirements:
• Top-notch project management skills, ability to work under pressure managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish
• At least 4-6 years of hands-on content marketing experience, ideally in technology
• Portfolio of engaging marketing materials including ebooks, case studies, emails, landing pages, datasheets, web content, infographics, and other short-form and long-form content (even if you're not the designer but were able to communicate the design)
• Excellent copywriting skills that inspire new ideas; copy-editing skills that take existing copy from good to great
• Exceptional understanding of digital (social, domain, and mobile) platforms and the cyber security landscape
• Outstanding people skills, gains satisfaction from collaborating with others and creating wins
• Experience in or interest in Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence and data visualization
