Key Responsibilities:
Proactively search, manage and license rights for books, comics, graphic novels, articles, and other written works, including adaptation (film/TV, audio), translation, and digital exploitation.
Pitch and negotiate deals with publishers, production companies, foreign agents, and other partners.
Collaborate with authors, agents, and internal creative teams to develop strategic rights plans and pitch materials.
Identify emerging trends and new opportunities in publishing, entertainment, and cross-media licensing.
Opportunity to develop and produce adaptations of licensed properties when applicable.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in literary rights, publishing, comics licensing, or entertainment rights management.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Familiarity with intellectual property law and contract terms.
Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent organizational skills.
Passion for storytelling across mediums-books, graphic novels, articles-and interest in production opportunities.
