Established literary agency seeks an experienced lit manager to join the team to rep screenwriters, show creators, comic book creators, etc.
This position is commission only with a very generous split.
Looking for experienced literary managers, agents, assistants, etc. Please have experience.
Prefer candidates with an existing roster.
Duties will include finding new, upcoming talent, seasoned veterans looking for new representation, assisting in the development of client's projects. In addition, pitching of clients to producers, networks, showrunners, etc.
Candidates should be extremely motivated, extremely organized with an inherent drive to succeed.
Again, this is a commission only position with a very generous split.
Interview will be held via Zoom/Skype and the position will be remote due to Covid-19.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
• 3-5 years of industry experience
• Good organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Passionate about client development
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Breakdown Express preferred
Responsibilities:
• Submitting and tracking clients on all projects
• Communicating with producers, prod cos, etc.
• Attend various industry events including scouting opportunities (suspended due to Covid-19)
• Negotiating and reviewing contracts on projects
