We're hiring a part-time management position for a new literary management company dedicated to film and TV writers and directors. Base salary, bonuses, and an opportunity to be in on the ground floor and expand with the company. 15-25 hours a week. Pay will be no less than $1000 per month and up to $3000-4000 per month depending on hours/performance. The position may soon grow into full-time, with benefits, expanded commissions, etc., based on successes.
If you're a current lit manager or agent, or up-and-coming, or have experience working at a studio, production company, agency, or management company in or around the Greater Los Angeles Area, this may be a good fit for you. Your immediate responsibilities will be working with a prolific writer/director client who is focused, driven, and has a lot of new material.
Responsibilities will include: setting up meetings, selling client to executives, studios, production companies, strategizing with client, finding new assignments and/or staff writing jobs, reading scripts, selling specs, packaging, and utilizing any of your existing relationships to expand our network in both TV and features, writing and directing.
