This is a part time position with longterm growth potential for the right candidate.
Seeking an efficient, driven and entertainment-savvy individual for a sales position in our small but mighty talent & literary management company.
The right candidate has completed, at minimum, a BA in literature, narrative film or television studies, and has an aptitude for condensing stories into concisely effective headlines. Being attuned to the social & cultural themes of today with a healthy vision for the future is a must.
You are also an eager to succeed, thick-skinned, quick-on-your-feet, proactive type with excellent phone skills. You must possess the ability to be consistently personable, clear and direct with production, network and studio executives on the phone. Scrappy researching skills & the ability to improvise on the spot are required.
Having good taste in literature, film and TV is inherently important but it's also ideal to be open-minded to stories that fall outside of one's interests.
Job Description: This position mainly entails getting familiar with our clients' work, discovering & researching potential targets, cold calling, submitting projects via email, regular strategic followups, setting general meetings for clients and scheduling all parties.
Tools We Use: Google Suite, IMDb Pro, LinkedIn (as well as IG, FB & Twtter, etc), inEntertainment, Variety Insights, etc.
