Large management and production company seeks a paralegal/assistant to support the Business Affairs department. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who possesses exceptional interpersonal skills given extensive interactions with staff, clients, and industry executives. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must in this high-volume office. Assistant duties will conform to the candidate's experience level, but will include drafting client representation agreements, book shopping agreements, collaboration agreements between clients and/or third parties, and additional drafting as needed. Administrative duties include general clerical and administrative tasks including letter drafting, filing, handling phones, managing calendars, and scheduling; tracking the status of all client contracts; coordinating contract signature with clients and buyers; and maintaining a large filing system.
1+ year of paralegal duties and/or 1+ year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred but not required.
