Independent Talent Manager seeks protege. Are you sick of working that desk with no upward momentum? Are you already hip pocketing an early list as you wait for that promotion? Do you love helping others succeed? Are you good at picking the winners and fanning their flames?
I manage an intimate roster for my hands-on boutique management company and am looking to add a junior manager to the team. This position is boots-to-the-fire intense requiring flexibility, determination, trustworthiness and a thick skin but you'll also ideally have a natural preference for teamwork and community-building.
Our office is run democratically and all talent potentials are fully approved by the whole team before adding to a roster. As trusted members of our team, regardless of title, everyone's voice counts in every decision we make. Additionally, although we have a terrific assistant, this office is best suited to someone who can roll up their sleeves when we all need to help out in various administrative & menial functions.
As a junior talent manager, you'll be able to build your own roster with my supervision and guidance. From there, we intend for you to continue growing with us in your career.
A minimum of 2 years' desk work at an agency, management company, or casting office is required.
Serious inquiries only. Along with your resume, please send your desired salary & benefits. If you are able to share 3 professional references in advance that is helpful!
All applications are confidential.
