Junior Offline Editor

We're looking for part-time / in-office, Junior Offline Editors to add to our roster for upcoming projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Creatively offline edit various film marketing pieces from bts featurettes to social media spots, using interview soundbites as the foundation to tell a story and forge a narrative.
• Sift through broll string-outs and a lot of footage to find the perfect moments / edit video and gfx to music and styles that follow today's video trends.
• Perform basic sound mixing & smoothing.
• Can handle technical troubleshooting with Premiere Pro and Media issues.
• Ability to create simple motion gfx.
• Color Grading skills are a plus.

Qualifications - Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Media Encoder, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition
• Must be able to work in-office. (not remote)
• Must be comfortable working with a creative producer.
• Ability to take constructive criticism and address client driven notes.
• A solid understanding of video codecs & social media formats.
• Maintain discretion with confidential material.
• Smart communication, consistent organization & time management.

SAMPLES
Please include links to work samples that you've edited and share what your part in the project was if it extended past editing (including scripting, gfx, mixing etc.) Ideally looking for samples that lean toward BTS, social media and interview driven content.
