Junior Agent

This is a Part Time Job

WE ARE SEEKING a JR Agent for an established boutique hair, make-up, styling agency based in Los Angeles. Looking for a JR Agent with a passion in the beauty and fashion industry who wants to excel and eventually be a full-time booker.

QUALIFICATIONS:
At least two years previous experience working at an agency (preferably a hair & make-up agency)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to scout and find new artists
Individuals must be organized and have excellent interpersonal/effective written & verbal communication.
Adaptable, self-motivated, good at prioritizing, and solution/results-driven

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client outreach on a daily basis
Pitching artists for upcoming shoots/projects
Assist in bookings, provide call sheets to artists, etc.
Develop an artist's portfolio
Assist in talent management and strategizing
Weekly check-ins with artists
Assist accounting department with filing and sometimes invoicing
Additional duties as requested

REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in the entertainment industry as it relates to handling talent management and previous booking agent experience; or any combination of experience and training which would provide the level of knowledge, skills, and ability required.

SALARY:
Hourly rate (based on experience) - non-exempt

SCHEDULE:
This position is part-time working 15 hours per week (3 days per week @ 5 hours per day) at our Los Angeles office. This is not a remote position. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. This position is intended to start off part-time during the Introductory Period. If a good fit, will move to full-time starting in January 2026. Full-time = 40 hours per week working Monday through Friday. Once full-time, paid vacation and medical benefits will commence.
