The Junior Producer is responsible for managing commercial, music video, and digital productions from development through final delivery. This role works closely with Executive Producers, Directors, clients, and production teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest creative standard. The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and eager to grow within a fast-paced production environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Produce commercial, music video, branded content, and digital productions from pre-production through wrap and delivery.
• Develop and manage production budgets, schedules, and cash flow.
• Collaborate with Executive Producers to scope projects, prepare bids, and present production approaches to clients.
• Hire and manage freelance crew, vendors, locations, equipment rentals, and production services.
• Oversee all phases of pre-production including permitting, insurance, travel, casting, payroll coordination, and production logistics.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients, agency partners, directors, and internal teams throughout assigned productions.
• Monitor production spending and prepare cost reports, reconciliations, and final actuals.
• Partner with post-production teams to ensure successful delivery of all project assets and final deliverables.
• Anticipate production challenges and proactively develop solutions while maintaining creative goals and budget expectations.
• Ensure productions comply with company policies, safety standards, labor regulations, and client requirements.
• Support Executive Producers and senior production staff on larger or more complex productions as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 2-5 years of production experience in commercials, music videos, branded content, or related media.
• Demonstrated experience producing projects from development through delivery.
• Strong understanding of production workflows across pre-production, production, and post-production.
• Experience creating and managing production budgets using software such as Hot Budget.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Knowledge of production paperwork, insurance requirements, payroll procedures, permitting, non-union productions is a plus.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Frame.io, Adobe Acrobat, and production management software.
