JUNIOR / ASSOCIATE AGENT
Established, mid-size talent agency seeks a Junior/Associate Agent in our Production (below-the-line) Department, based in our Los Angeles office.
The Role:
This full-time position offers the opportunity for a self-motivated and creative individual to work closely with a supportive and seasoned team of agents representing an elite international roster of clients in the physical production space. Agent will be responsible for servicing existing clients of the agency, in addition to cultivating the skills to scout and develop new talent. The position requires a communicative and thoughtful individual with a high emotional IQ. The candidate must possess a passion for the art and craft of filmmaking and an understanding of film production.

Core responsibilities include:
• Heavy phones and email communication with clients and buyers in a service-oriented manner consistent with the company's values and brand reputation.
• Pitching clients for appropriate projects (features, episodic, shortform) based on an understanding of the client plus the logistical and creative needs of each project.
• Generating and managing client materials, including reels and resumes.
• Negotiating all aspects of bookings and deal memos. Reviewing and editing longform contracts with support from colleagues.
• Managing administrative needs for clients, including scheduling and accounting.
• Attend festivals, industry events, and meetings outside normal business hours. Periodic travel required.
• Coordinate and assist in the creation and execution of compelling social media content with support from administrative staff.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Talent agency and/or physical production experience is mandatory. Must have at a minimum of 4 years' experience in the entertainment industry.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university .
• Advanced proficiency in Mac-based Microsoft Office Suite and basic Google Workspace systems.
• Basic experience with Airtable, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing, social media creation and management tools (Canva, Later, Meta Business).
• Ability to travel to both domestic and international locations as required.
• Candidate must reside in the greater Los Angeles area.
This is an in-office, in person position.
Salary $65,000 - $75,000/yr DOE
