Our Santa Monica acting school is seeking an energetic and highly motivated assistant Program Advisor to help international actors obtain their student visas. The incumbent will serve as assistant to designated School Official (DSO) for the m-1 student program.
Work Schedule: Full-time or part time
Essential Functions:
• Advise and assist international students
• Manage the Office of International Student Program (ISP)
• Manage program operations: planning, training, supervision
• Act as the assistant DSO
• Help to issue I-20 and maintain student records
• Collaborate with faculty, administrators, staff
• Develop and implement a strategic and marketing plans
• Develop branding for the International Student Program
• Establish and maintain excellent relationship with oversea agents
• Develop partnerships with 4-year universities and language schools
• Innovate the registration process for incoming international students
• Design and implement procedures, services, and activities to support international students
Starting salary $12 per hour with bonus
Job Location: Santa Monica, CA
Required education: High school or equivalent
fluency in a languages is a plus.
