Part Time Unpaid Talent Management Internship
A Talent Management firm in Los Angeles and Nashville is seeking two unpaid internships to work remotely.
The candidate must have excellent phone skills, positive attitude, interest in entertainment industry, like to read and review scripts and television treatments, and an autonomous nature and attitude -- ''If I don't know how to do it or who to speak to, I'll figure it out.''
We are looking for candidates who are extremely dependable, strong communicators and who work well remotely based upon work goals and deadlines. Attention to detail is a must. Interest long term in talent management is also a plus as this could turn into a long-term hire.
Required:
Some industry knowledge
Interest in production, scripts, literary, television
Computer skills / basic software / mac preferred
Social media skills
Creative / out of the box thinker
Go-getter / driven personality - but also pleasant and ethical
Excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone about to graduate looking to learn more about the industry and to build network contacts -- gain some key experience in talent management and television, film and tangential industries. Position will afford day to day interaction with casting directors, other managers, producers, agents, talent, and executives.
The day to day can include but is not limited to helping an assistant to two Talent Managers with the below:
-Script coverage
-Roles and Talent pitch / Liaison with talent on audition notices
-Pitching ideas to casting offices and producers
-Answering phones, emails and general correspondence
-Sitting in on Meetings with clients
-Meeting with prospective new clientele
-Updating information / grids / casting and booking workbooks
-Research and project reviews
-Other managerial work on an as-needed basis
