Search for Intern - Social Media/Marketing/Production jobs in Remote-US
Social Media/Marketing/Production intern needed for a production company that specializes in comedic content for Film, TV, Commercial, and New Media. This candidate will work closely with Producers/Writers/Comedians who are currently developing TV shows and short films, and can regularly be seen on networks like Netflix, Hulu, TruTV, and Comedy Central.
Ideally, this candidate would work approximately 2 -3 days each week (6 - 8 hours each day) from November 2020 - March 2021.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Support the day-to-day management of clients' social media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Manage Youtube channel and create playlists; appropriately title and tag content for optimal viewing content
-Assist with securing brand partnerships
- Develop engaging content and manage social media content
- Add content, stylize, publish electronic newsletters via Mailchimp
- Assist at virtual events as needed
- Provide creative brainstorming ideas for Social Media
- Create videos using editing software/apps
- Create flyers in Canva
- Create content directory for all videos
- Researching best practices
- Assisting with podcast production
- Assisting with treatments and pitch decks
Requirements:
- Have excellent verbal written communication skills
- Be detailed oriented, proactive, and take initiative
- Must have knowledge and strong interest in social media marketing
- Must have knowledge and strong interest in comedy
- Experience with Canva, Squarespace and Mailchimp
- Experience with social media sites, specifically Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (additional knowledge of other channels a plus)
- Experience with graphic design and video editing
- Understand the purpose of social media for businesses
- Understand proper use of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Have strong organizational skills
- Degree or currently majoring in: Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or similar background
- Detail oriented and organized
- Able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment and work independently
Must be a current student or recent graduate.
