Intern - Socia Media/PR

Part Time Unpaid Internship
This is a one semester or 4-month (January - May 2023) internship at a Black-owned and women-centered production company. Time commitment of three days per week. As a social media intern, you must have interest in PR and/or social media content creation and marketing.

MAIN TASK:
Social media content management (Instagram and Twitter)

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Post assets to social media
Research and share found social media insights and new industry trends
Support the development of the brand identity and awareness by ideating great content ideas.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Excellent written and verbal communication
Idea machine
Strong attention to detail
Graphic design and video editing skills a major plus
Copywriting/Copy Editing skills a plus
Strong proficiency in MAC Computers, Gmail, Google Docs, iPhone apps, and social media

Although our internship program can be remote (students can apply from anywhere), please be aware that this intern will report into a Los Angeles-based manager and therefore should expect to work on pacific standard time.

• Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship)
• Must be a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
