seeking highly-motivated individuals to participate in its fast-paced internship program. Applicants should have an interest in music and be ready to learn the ins-and-outs of working in the music PR industry.
This internship is currently remote due to COVID, however, we do have some in-person activities that if the current city orders permit, we would want you to participate in such as video shoots, photo shoots, etc.
As an intern you can expect to be involved in the following:
• Research background information for upcoming artist campaigns
• Drafting and sending pitches to media song debuts, albums, etc
• Sending press releases out to media for nation-wide campaigns
• Establishing relationships with members of the media & press
• Creating and building lists of contacts
• Directly assisting publicists for a number of other tasks
REQUIREMENTS:
They should have an outgoing personality, a fun attitude, and a great work ethic. We are seeking someone who is passionate about learning or becoming a social media strategist. Our agency works hands-on with entertainment/talent.
MUST have a working laptop and cell phone. (Mac is preferred but NOT required.)
MUST have good, communication, writing, phone, and computer skills! MUST have good phone etiquette and take direction well. Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat) required.
MUST be able to work independently both in and outside of the office environment.
We are looking for someone who is committed, passionate, and willing to learn!
This is a great opportunity for hands-on experience as well as building your portfolio.
This internship can also be used for college credit
We would want you to start as soon as possible as long as your school allows it. Your weekly schedule will revolve around your school schedule and your current school workload.
Los Angeles, CA Based Preferred - Hybrid - 80% remote/20% in person
Must be able to receive college credit.
Duration - based on your semester and school requirements.
average 15hrs/week - flexible depending on your school schedule.
