Part Time Unpaid Internship

We are seeking a star intern to support our small team and learn the ins and outs of entertainment publicity. This is a remote, part-time unpaid position that has been designed to provide valuable hands-on experience to those hoping to launch a career in entertainment publicity. You will receive training, guidance, college credit and real-world practical experience while supporting publicity campaigns on behalf of film, entertainment and talent clients. You will strengthen your writing skills, learn how to craft pitches and EPKs, attend all client calls and meetings, and much more! It is an opportunity to learn and grow.
Other duties may include:
- Participating in brainstorms, researching and presenting ideas to support our clients
- Drafting bios, blog stories and social media posts
- Updating databases, schedules and client reports
- Support with scheduling and account coordination
This position is suited to someone who is a self-starter, extremely detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills, interest in the media and trends on social media, and a passion for the entertainment industry! the position is open to start immediately (September 20 - December 16 (flexible - confirm end date upon hire). We are looking for someone who can commit to at least 10 hours per week in order to get the most out of this opportunity. This is a remote position and no in-office work is required.
