Job Description: The production intern will work with producers and office staff on pre-production, production and office duties and will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of working in film / photography production.
A full time commitment is preferred (3-6 months) - Monday to Friday 9:30AM-6:30PM so that the internship is of full value to you in terms of training.
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or student of a TV/Film/Video Production or Photography course who seeks to gain valuable, hands on experience in the industry.
Skills requirements: Excellent written and verbal skills. Extremely organized. Strong attention to detail is vital, problem solving, independent attitude and strong work ethic.
Computer Literate: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word. Knowledge of Photoshop & InDesign is necessary. Familiarity with Final Cut/Adobe/Foliobook/Social Media is a MAJOR plus.
Some production & travel booking experience but more importantly a keen desire to learn about production duties which may include:
• Coordinating schedules for production • Coordinating bids and budgets • Recording project expenses• Managing shoot travel bookings • PA work for Executive Producer & Founder • Editing documents. eg., directors treatments & photography books • Assisting other members of the team as directed and working as a PA on local productions. • Maintaining office appearance and supply levels • Making office runs and deliveries • Directing incoming phone calls and greeting clients
