Intern - Production & Development

Part Time Unpaid Internship
School credit only* *Unpaid Position*

This is a one-semester or 4-month (May - August 2023) internship at a Black-owned and women-centered production company. Time commitment of three days per week, approximately 6 hours per day or five days per week 3 hours a day. As a production & development intern, you must have interest in production and development for film/tv.

MAIN TASK:
Support SVP of Production & Development

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Script coverage
Research for projects in active development
Taking notes during weekly development meetings or calls

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Excellent written and verbal communication
Previous production and/or development experience is a plus!
Strong proficiency in MAC Computers, Gmail, Google Docs, iPhone apps
Editorial and/or Graphics knowledge is a plus.

Although our internship program can be remote (students can apply from anywhere), please be aware that this intern will report into a Los Angeles-based manager and therefore should expect to work on pacific standard time. • Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship) • Must be a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA • Must have the legal right to work in the United States
