Internship Opportunity: Podcast Launch - Producer's Assistant Internship
About the Internship
Are you passionate about podcasts, storytelling, and media production? This is a unique opportunity to support the launch of a groundbreaking podcast featuring conversations with some of the world's most successful women entrepreneurs. As a Producer's Assistant Intern, you'll gain first-hand experience in every stage of podcast creation - from research and booking to production and promotion - while contributing to a project that amplifies voices shaping the future of business and innovation.
Responsibilities
Research & Guest Coordination: Identify and research potential guests, prepare briefing notes, and assist with scheduling.
Production Support: Help organize recording sessions, manage audio files, and assist with show notes and transcripts.
Content Development: Contribute ideas for episode topics, interview questions, and promotional content.
Editing Assistance: Support with audio review, basic editing, and quality checks (prior experience a plus, but not required).
Promotion & Outreach: Assist in building awareness for the podcast launch through social media, newsletters, and community engagement.
Who Should Apply
Interest or background in media, communications, journalism, or audio production.
Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
Familiarity with podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.) and social media.
Experience with audio editing software (Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand, etc.) is helpful but not required.
Proactive, resourceful, and excited about learning the behind-the-scenes of podcasting.
Details
Location: Remote, with flexibility for in-person opportunities if applicable.
Duration: 3-6 months, with a minimum of 16 hours per week (schedule can be spread over two days or throughout the week).
Compensation: Unpaid; school credit available. Educational training only, no employment guaranteed.
