How do I hire an Intern - Music Marketing? Music Marketing Intern for Independent Artist
In this role you will work directly with an emerging Los Angeles-based independent artist to provide a diverse range of support to promote his recently released album.
Primary Responsibilities will include:
• Supporting social media promotion for the artist
• Researching and contacting music blogs and other promotion channels
• Researching and contacting online and college radio stations
• Researching and contacting Spotify playlists
• Coordinating support for future live shows
• Support for special media/video projects
Key Skills required include:
• Fluency with top platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube
• Good coordination and planning skills
• Good communication skills
• Good online research skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A passion for music and an entrepreneurial mindset
Other Skills:
• Musical background is a plus
• Previous experience with music marketing and promotion is a plus
Work Schedule:
• This is a part-time position with flexible hours
Location:
• This is virtual position so you can work from anywhere in the world
