2020/2021 INTERN(S) NEEDED.
We are a boutique LA based Management company that handles a diverse roster of international recording artists, songwriters and producers.
This internship is designed to give hands on experience for those looking to develop the skills necessary to work within the music industry. You will be exposed to every facet of the business as well be open to a network of some of the industry's most influential and innovative professionals. The goal is that by the end of the internship, you will have received a thorough look at the inner workings of music management.
Interns will be assigned to work on various aspects of client projects including:
E-Mail Correspondences
Social Media and other Marketing
Tour budgeting
Updating and maintenance of Artist Calendars
Assisting with coordination and logistics of various events & festivals
Various Business Operations
Booking of travel
Music data management across multiple platforms - song registration, Apple Music uploading, etc
Administrative duties including updating client materials, gathering press
Create a weekly list of upcoming shows/events
Active A&R scouting / finding new artists
Daily support with miscellaneous tasks
*ALTHOUGH THIS INTERN ISN'T PAID - ANY COSTS FOR TRAVEL REQUIRED WILL BE COVERED.
Candidate Requirements:
Must be punctual, proactive, reliable, detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and resourceful
Able to keep track of many ongoing projects with strong attention to detail and excellent follow through
Access to a personal laptop computer
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to make strict deadlines
Has interest and or previous experience in the pop culture, music and entertainment industry
Proficient in Microsoft office and Google docs/calendar
Music file data knowledge a plus
Comfortable and capable in both corporate and social environments
Detail-oriented
Organized
Education Requirements:
Completed 1st year of college
A music related major is preferred
