Publicity Intern - Boutique PR/Artist Development Label

Our small team of publicists is looking for a few stellar interns to join our team and learn the ropes of independent music publicity. We work with a variety up-and-coming of US, Canadian and UK based artists and record labels to generate publicity from the roots up. This is an excellent opportunity for music-minded PR students that pride themselves on being ''ahead of the curve'' when it comes to their knowledge of music trends and the music industry media. Familiarity with the forerunners of print and online music media is a must.

The internship would entail a 15-20 hour/wk time commitment. Intern responsibilities include: updating contact databases, monitoring new music and contact preferences, social media development, tour routing and new media research, publicity monitoring/clipping and assisting with recaps, pitching concert listings in outer markets, physical record servicing and assisting on-site with concerts and events as requested.

This internship is unpaid.
