BlackLight Media is a multi-faceted boutique artist management company based in Hollywood, CA. Our internship program offers hands-on experience working with award-winning musicians, theatrical talent, and professional athletes. Key areas of exposure include: personal management, contracts and deal memos, A&R, booking, public relations, marketing, and event management. On any given day, you may be arranging a recording session, helping with a video shoot, booking talent for a podcast, participating in a marketing meeting, planning a tour, or creating a social media campaign. The client base is multi-ethnic and includes Hall of Fame athletes and artists as well as buzz worthy emerging artists, and entertainment companies.
Qualifications:
Creativity, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with popular culture trends and influencers is important. In addition, strong research skills, writing ability, and a good work ethic are essential. Familiarity with Google Apps (or business software programs), basic web site design, creative writing, and ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment will enhance your ability to participate in top tier projects. Interns must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor's or graduate degree program.
Compensation; Hours & Location
This position is unpaid. Hours flexible; Limited virtual office acceptable.
