Australian entertainment immigration lawyer seeking intern to learn about preparation of cases for foreign talent visas and Green Cards.
The need for foreign talent is greater than ever, so anyone interested in a career on the business side of the entertainment industry will benefit from gaining insight into the requirements for foreign talent to work on US productions.
You DO NOT need to be a law student or recent law school graduate in order to be eligible for this position, but some legal experience will help.
You will be working in a shared office space and gain insight into liaising with talent managers, clients, talent, and producers.
It is best if you have a passion for the entertainment industry and a general understanding of acting and/or filmmaking as a profession.
Applicant should have a passion for learning about running a start-up, as well as be interested in either entertainment or immigration law and talent management. This will be a useful experience for those interested in a career as a manager, attorney or a producer. You will gain and develop skills in different forms of writing and legal document preparation.
Note
- Gym in building for use before work, during lunch break or after work.
- Morning coffee.
- Skill development under the instruction of a former college professor.
