Internship Start Date/Season: Summer Internship
Internship Duration: 2 months
Time/Days Required:3 days/ week 9-5 pm
Workplace Requirements: - Must be able to work a minimum of 2 months (full or part time, minimum 2-3 FULL days in person with me this week then the ability to work on their own while we are shooting in Europe, though Zoom calls and assignments)
Responsibilities
Film experience a plus.
We are looking for:
Social media interns to work on a go fund me campaign, fundraising, posting on FB, Instagram, Pinterest etc.
Sales
Editors to work on trailers and rough cut of the film.
Writers to help with drafting publicity material, and story
Researchers
Daily Responsibilities May Include:
• Assist with copy editing, transcribing recorded interviews, drafting content, proofreading, fact checking, research
Assist with social media marketing and communications, help with editing rough cut, fundraising, creating promotional material, work with websites
You will receive end credits in the film, masthead credit, school credit, and valuable documentary filmmaking and social media experience in an intimate, artful, and open-minded atmosphere where you control your own destiny! What you put in is what you get out. Credit will only be given if you finish the internship in full; this internship is unpaid.
Requirements
• Work experience or educational focus in one of the following: publicity, film, editing, social media, and/or marketing, historical research
• Possess excellent verbal and communication skills (fluent in English)
• Have a positive attitude, strong social skills, and can work independently
A great sense of humor!
Passion for (cinematography, film, history) and culture; up-to-date with news in the world
Have working knowledge of working on a Google Drive, Microsoft, Excel, Photoshop, Acrobat Reader, Adobe Premiere, After effects.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, X, etc.
Must have laptop to bring to office
