How do I hire an Intern - Digital Marketing and Social Media? Applicants need not be based in Canada - this is a Work-from-Home online opportunity.
Gentle Sparrow is a startup music business by a film composer and singer-songwriter with 20 years experience in the music business, 4 JUNO nominations, and 8 Canadian Folk Music Award nominations (Rob Teehan).
We have a number of initiatives that we require digital marketing support with over the coming four months, with the possibility of a longer working relationship.
First is a custom songwriting service which will be launching this month.

Second is an educational course that will be launching in November. Third is a series of songwriting retreats.
Fourth, we are constantly releasing music under a number of artist names and require help promoting these to Spotify playlists.
Finally, we need help maintaining our social media accounts and keeping up engagement.
Our primary need at the moment is in researching potential clients and partners, assisting with facebook and social media ad campaigns, running split tests, tracking analytics.
This is primarily a DIGITAL MARKETING internship in the music industry. Candidates should be enrolled in a university program to receive course credit for an internship. Candidates must be well-versed in current digital marketing and social media trends. Music industry knowledge is a strong asset, but not required. Graphic design skills an asset.
Our intention is to provide a positive work environment and career mentorship for a talented and motivated individual.
We will be as clear as possible with tasks and expectations, and set aside weekly time to discuss your career goals and offer guidance and support as we are able. For the right candidate, this internship could potentially lead to a paid position in 2021.
This is a REMOTE only position, workload 10-20 hours per week. Work from home or wherever you are with good WiFi. We will talk via Messenger or Whatsapp and email, including during the interview process.
