How do I hire an Intern - Creative/Development? We are looking for a part-time intern for a management client in the pop/r&b music space.
Looking for candidates ideally based in the general LA area, but open to outside the area as this will start as a remote internship due to current circumstances.
The role is geared toward applicants with previous graphic design and video editing experience looking to get hands on with creative direction, brand development, storytelling and building a project from the ground up.
Client is a singer/songwriter and is launching a new project. Has performed with Sarah McLachlan at The Juno Awards, was a top contestant on NPR's Tiny Desk Contest and performed as a contestant on the Canadian television show The Launch.
Must be currently enrolled in a college or university.
Tasks will include:
Engaging with the client and management to co-create new design concepts.
Developing materials based on style guides/references to fit brand image.
Assisting with and developing content ideas.
Creating short-form content to be used for social media.
Keeping tabs on and maintaining a strong pulse for videographers, photographers, and creative directors for potential collaboration opportunities.
Ideal Candidate will possess the following:
Organized, strong attention to detail, and an eye for design and layout.
Proactive, with a willingness to be creative in content development ideas in wake of the current pandemic.
Knowledge of and access to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) are required.
General knowledge of social media best practices including TikTok.
