Intern - Assistant Writer / Researcher /Proofreader
ConfidentialLos Angeles, CA
Part Time Unpaid Internship
ASSISTANT WRITER / RESEARCHER / PROOFREADER (fall 2019):
We are a 25 year old production company in the process of producing a few new digital projects (podcasts / webseries / stage shows). We are looking for a few bright interns to help us get this brand new project up and running. We are producing a cross between a podcast and a live staged show (for the podcast), so we are open to people who may not have a ton of professional experience under their belts but have practical knowledge about writing for social media, podcast and/or filmmaking and television writing/production.
Whether you have written several scripts or you've barely completed a spec script, or maybe you're great at researching things, or posting pics and videos to social media with a few lines of text... or maybe proofreading scripts and breaking down the characters for casting is more your thing... whatever it is you can or want to do we just may need you on our team.
So if you 1) have general knowledge of one or more of the aforementioned skills or passions, 2) are computer/internet savvy, and 3) interested in being a part of a grassroots team on this new pod-series then we want to hear from you.
This is a super cool, fun and easy part time gig with super flexible hours. We are looking for interns who eat, sleep and breathe social media, podcast (production or listening), or films and television. ACTORS welcome.
If this is you, please contact us. Our positions start late August and run through December 2019.
Please note: Although you do not need to submit a writing sample now once you are interviewed you will be asked to submit no more than a five page writing or coverage sample. Via email:
