A&R Intern

We are an independent record label based in Atlanta, Georgia, focusing on urban music, inclusive of hip-hop, r&b, reggae/dancehall and pop genres. We need an awesome A&R intern on our team in an urgent manner.

The ideal candidate should have an in depth knowledge, love and appreciation of urban music and culture. As well as an aspiration to grow within the music industry, starting out here, as an A&R intern. Should be computer literate, Social Media savvy, as well as having a working knowledge of the recording process of the music industry, from start to finish, or ready to learn and advance in this area.

Duties will include scouting for new artists to be signed to the label, be a liaison between the label and talents signed, artistic and commercial development of talents, and overseeing all aspects of the recording process that leads to the delivery of the finished master recordings to the label.

Requirements:
Current College Student or recent graduate
Your own lap top
Detail oriented
Sharp mind
Willingness to learn
Passion for talented artists, producers and overall music production
Great phone skills
Positive up beat personality
Would like applicant who has interest in being a successful A&R
