As an HR Generalist, you will directly contribute to the analysis, strategy, execution, and continued innovation of the processes and procedures that support our Talent Acquisition strategy and Company Onboarding & Engagement initiatives.
This person will foster an industry-leading approach, ensuring that our talent acquisition and onboarding processes are developed and maintained to the highest possible level of quality. We are looking for a passion for hiring & training great people, enjoyment of the art of collaboration, and the ability to generate enthusiasm for our company and culture.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the Plans' recruitment efforts including:
o Creating new recruitment strategies to find the best applicants for each role
o Maintain our applicant tracking system and job descriptions to ensure accuracy
o Source candidates; using established and new search engines
o Screen applicants, coordinate interviews and provide offer letters as the main point person during the recruitment process
o Create an exceptional candidate experience
o Maintain key relationships with hiring managers and quickly learn key elements of the business to determine talent needs
o Look for ways to promote internal applicants and facilitate a smooth transition process when needed
o Think outside the box to find the best talent for the organization
- Metric 1: Time to Fill (open requisition to accepted offer)
- Metric 2: Candidate satisfaction with recruitment process
• Onboarding & Orientation
o Process hires through our PEO including background screening process, creating new hire records
o Facilitate weekly new hire orientation
o Focus on continuous improvement of the employee onboarding experience
o Develop a deep organizational awareness of business units by developing a department orientation process
- Metric 3: Time to Start (accepted offer to start date)
- Metric 4: New Hire Onboarding Satisfaction
• Engagement
o Manage our employee engagement pulse survey, which gives employees an opportunity to provide ongoing feedback about our team and create presentations to help leaders understand, debrief and create action plans for improvement
o Partner with the HR Drive to drive a listening culture and build feedback mechanisms into employee engagement activities and internal communications to enable employees to have an opportunity for dialogue
o Manage internal employee communications channels to ensure employees know how to find the information they need and that the right messages are shared to boost employee engagement
o Create ''out of the box'' initiatives to enhance the employee experience throughout the employee life cycle. Implementing procedures to measure results
• Provide HR Generalist support as needed.

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proficient knowledge with relevant legal requirements and regulations
• Strong ethic for working with confidential information
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills
• Ability and interest to work in a geographically diverse environment
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in from a four-year college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources or another related field. Or equivalent years of experience
Experience:
• 3+ years general Human Resources experience
• 1+ years of recruiting experience
• Experience in the Entertainment/Media and/or Technology industries is highly preferred.
