We're looking for a dynamic Head of Operations and Finance to spearhead innovation and growth at our thriving digital management company. If you're passionate about shaping the future of the creator economy and making a global impact, this opportunity is for you. We are looking for someone with a unique blend of operational expertise, financial acumen, and a deep understanding and passion of the digital media landscape.
Responsibilities:
Financial and Operations Management:
Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the agency's objectives and revenue targets.
Develop and implement procedures for: invoicing, collections, and payouts.
Streamline and optimize operational processes to maximize efficiency, and productivity.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to support scalable growth.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation, leveraging technology and best practices to drive operational excellence.
Client Invoicing and Payment Management:
Oversee the invoicing process for all clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and contractual terms are followed.
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments, maintaining positive relationships while ensuring timely collections.
Manage payment processing for all clients and internal company managers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with talent managers to reconcile late payments resolve any issues.
HR and Employee/Intern Onboarding:
Oversee HR for a small but growing team
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs
Lead the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Proven experience (5-10 years) in a senior leadership role, with a focus on both operations and finance, preferably within the digital media or talent management industry.
Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial modeling.
Demonstrated ability to streamline operational processes, improve efficiency, and drive scalable growth in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic mindset with the ability to translate operational and financial insights into actionable strategies and initiatives.
Proficiency in financial software and systems, as well as experience with digital media platforms and technologies.
