Fall Intern - Development & Distribution

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Time/Days Required: 2-3 days in person; ideally one day is Tuesday

The Job:
We are looking for an exciting new intern. The ideal intern would be interested in learning more about Development, Distribution and Acquisitions. Ideally, we would like someone who has basic skills with script coverage, organization and working in an office environment. This internship is for someone who takes initiative, wants to connect with others in the business and can help us get organized on our admin side. We have an event on Oct 6th that you MUST be available for from 2-9pm, so previous PA experience is a plus. If you cannot make this date and timeframe, please do not apply.

We would like someone who can be in our office 2-3x a week; we can be flexible with which days, but Tuesdays would be a preferred day. Since this is an unpaid internship, we do require that you be currently enrolled in college. Again, MUST be able to commit to at least 2 days in office, 10am-6pm, and be available to work until the evening of Oct 6. It is an exciting movie premiere and will be a great experience.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• script coverage
• development notes
• maintenance of our submission log
• light scheduling and admin (tracking our general inbox, organizing files, etc)
• evaluating materials and screeners for potential acquisition
• taking notes in meetings
