Executive In Charge
Looking for an experienced EIC with big reality show and union experience. Must be a self-starter who takes direction well to get set up a production. Is comfortable running and managing all the moving pieces, delivering on time and on budget, and meeting all established expectations without the need for heavy oversight. Starts mid-May through December. Shoots in Texas.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
Reporting to Head of Production and Head of Finance; Managing and updating the weekly cost report and communicating accurate projections weekly to Production and Finance Executives
Communicating with Head of Production and Legal / Business Affairs
Ensuring all company protocols, standards, and procedures are upheld by all crew members
Work closely with the Line Producer and production team to manage day to day operations.
Day-to-day communication with all Producers and EPs
Negotiating rates, creating and tracking deal memos, submitting paperwork and ensuring everything is completed accurately
Creating, overseeing, and managing the production and post schedules
Overseeing and managing production budget
Overseeing and managing the timely execution, tracking, and organization of legal and talent releases
Overseeing production accounting (checking/approving weekly payroll, invoices, and billing)
Overseeing, tracking, and approving all timecards, invoices, and expenses
Ensuring all network deliverables and post deliverables are completed and submitted accurately and on schedule with the appropriate milestones
Have Knowledge of:
Microsoft Office
Google Drive (docs, sheets, etc)
Worker's Comp and handling injuries on set if they arise
IA, DGA, 399, and SAG/AFTRA requirements.
Experience working with Covid Safety Protocols a plus.
