This is a Full Time Job
We're in search of a highly organized, proactive executive assistant to support the daily operations of a show runner/director/writer and to provide administrative support for his production company. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about television and film, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can manage a wide range of tasks with professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities:
-Manage the showrunner's schedule, calendar, travel, medical appointments and day-to-day administrative needs.
-Serve as a communication hub between departments (writers,production,post) within the show and with assistants in the network/studio
-Take detailed notes during meetings, and creative sessions; organize and distribute notes.
-Track deadlines and keep show runner abreast of his schedule
-Organize scripts, revisions, and documents
-Handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
-Assist with creative tasks such as research and reference gathering.
-Be on site (set or office) to support the needs of the showrunner. (i.e. coordinating lunch and coffee orders)
Production Company Support - Offices located in Silverlake
-Maintain company calendars, timelines, and development trackers for all projects.
-Coordinate submission logs, incoming scripts, staffing materials, and general inquiries.
-Reading scripts, providing coverage, and tracking emerging talent and IP.
-Handle general administrative logistics for the company, including scheduling, and office organization.
Qualifications:
-Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
-Proficiency with Google Workspace, Final Draft Adobe Creative Suit, Microsoft suite, and Outlook.
-Strong writing and research skills.
-Ability to anticipate needs and execute time-sensitive matters
-Positive attitude, confidentiality, a team-oriented mindset & a passion for storytelling and production.
-Adept at quickly learning new processes, technology, and ability to assimilate oneself and become familiar with existing systems.
