Executive Assistant to Music Industry Executive

Description:
We run a hybrid record label / music management company with over 4 billion streams on our roster. We are a small team based in Los Angeles, this position is hybrid but will require the hire to be based in Los Angeles and meet with the artists and teams weekly.
This is a bit of a different executive assistant position. A portion of the role is an executive assistant position to the CEO while the rest is running admin tasks on the label, and handling communication between the artists on the roster and corresponding teams. On paper, the other half of this role is a day to day manager, but we're really looking for someone who has experience being an executive assistant as we're seeking someone extremely organized and efficient. At it's core you are really acting as an executive assistant to the CEO and each artist on the roster.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point of contact between the executive and internal/external team including artists, managers, and industry partners.
• Help deliver releases, credits, metadata, etc.
• Coordinate logistics for events, meetings, and special projects.
Interface directly with artists on roster including in person meetings helping plan their releases, marketing timelines, etc.
• Monitor and respond to emails, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
• Maintain and improve office systems, processes, and workflows.
• Assist with (minimal) personal tasks
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years as an Executive Assistant, preferably in the music, entertainment, or media industry. If not, ideal candidate is passionate about music and willing to do the research on their own time.
• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Skills:
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in iCal, Google Docs, and project management tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects with a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with the music industry landscape, including key players and trends.
• Attributes:
• Adaptable, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence in interfacing with artists
• Passion for music and the entertainment industry
