A production company with first look deals for features and TV at major studios in both English and Spanish language seeks a bilingual Executive Assistant to join their team. The team is small and the assistant would get direct exposure to executives. Opportunity to learn about film and TV production and development. This opportunity is fully remote and WFH, but candidate MUST BE LOCATED IN LA to attend occasional team meetings. In order to service both their English and Spanish-content deals, bilingual Spanish is also a requirement. A candidate who is familiar with the Mexican market is also a strong plus.
Responsibilities include:
>Interfacing with both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking partners
>Scheduling/maintaining executive's calendars and all correspondence
>Handling phones
> Reading/covering writing samples and other creative materials
> Writing and distributing meeting notes
> Maintaining updated submission, project, and talent grids
> Conducting research on an as needed basis to support the development process
