Emmy-award winning production company is seeking an Assistant/Office Manager. The ideal candidate should be very comfortable with typical administrative assistant tasks and be able to handle heavy phones and email flow, coordinate calendars, and be responsible for office manager duties; this position requires someone who is capable of being on top of all things at all times.
Responsibilities include:
- Serve as personal assistant to company CEO
- Maintain calendars for 3-4 company executives
- Serve as the point person for the office which includes answering the main phone line and directing calls, receiving mail and packages, handling any employee requests/complaints etc.
- Serve as office manager which includes ordering supplies and interfacing with building management
- Book all travel for CEO, EVP and VP, generate travel itineraries
Must be able to multitask, work under direction and think on your feet. The person in this position is a go-to person for everyone else in the office so you must be ready and willing to problem solve and take on anything that is thrown at you. Candidates should have great writing skills and feel at home in a fast-paced work environment where things change day-to-day. Long hours can be required, but this is a great position for someone trying to get their foot in the door of a bustling production company.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Previous entertainment industry experience as an assistant required
• Experience in film/television development preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-starter with a ''no job is too small'' attitude
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong attention to detail
