An Emmy Award winning, Los Angeles based, television Production Company seeks an Executive Assistant for the Chief Operating Officer. Qualified applicants should have no less than one year of experience working in a television production environment and be willing to commit to a minimum of one year in the position.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
• Manage schedule and office of busy COO
• Act as backup for other key executives as needed
• Answer telephones, screen, log, and places phone calls as needed
• Event coordination of company parties
• Source, coordinate and manage industry holiday gifts and holiday cards
• Expense management of executive purchases
• Maintain executive offices and supplies
• Basic administrative tasks such as filing
• Assist HR with company morale events
• Support Production Management in show related functions as time allows
• Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Ideal candidates must be pro-active, highly organized, have strong phone skills, and be able to manage multiple calendars and projects with a positive, customer service attitude
• Should be able to think self-sufficiently and outside of the box when problem solving
• Proficiency with Mac software, Word, Excel, Gmail, Gcal are a must
• Individual must have strong work ethic, leadership skills and flexibility to adapt and deal with the typical rigors of a fast paced hectic television production environment
• Should be able to work autonomously without constant direction
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels, in person and on the telephone
• Must be able to maintain confidential information
• The ideal candidate must have an interest in the production, corporate, operations and logistical side of the television business
