Assistant to IP & Business Affairs Executive

The Role:
We are seeking a full-time Assistant to support our Principal Attorney/CEO/Founder across all areas of intellectual property and Digital Talent. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and eager to learn the legal and strategic layers of IP management in entertainment, media, and the creator economy.

Responsibilities:
Provide extensive administrative support including complex calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting and executive communications
Manage and organize contract workflows - from creating client files and prepping signature-ready agreements to circulating and tracking final documents
Maintain digital filing systems and project databases for all active IP matters
Liaise across multiple partners including accountants, agents, business managers, and brand partners
Compare agreement drafts, summarize legal and financial terms, and flag key negotiation points
Research rights availability and assist with chain-of-title verifications across film, publishing, podcast, and digital content
Support early-stage deal negotiations and client-facing projects with professionalism and discretion
Serve as a first point of contact for high-profile clients, teams, and outside counsel
Qualifications:
BA/BS from an accredited university
1+ year of relevant experience in entertainment, legal, or media. Agency experience is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with IP and media contracts with an emphasis on digital creators strongly preferred
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Comfort with redlining, document management, and version control is a plus
Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through
Strong interpersonal skills and a client-first, professional demeanor
Able to work independently, handle sensitive information, and thrive in a high-touch environment
Proficient in Google Applications & Email Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, and cloud-based filing systems
Location:
Hybrid structure preferred

Compensation:
Salary Range: $41,000-50,000 annually
