Full Time Job
Seeking Executive Assistant/Office Manager for a boutique entertainment company. This position reports directly to a very successful and seasoned Executive Producer and CEO of the company. Occasionally assists other office personnel. Looking for candidate to start immediately.
LOCATION - Woodland Hills
The company produces and distributes independent feature films and this is a great opportunity for one to learn more about the business end of the entertainment industry.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Full support for CEO including administrative duties that include but not limited to
- Answering phones/emails
- Taking dictation, drafting correspondence
- Scheduling meetings and conference calls
- Copying, printing, compiling documents
- Creating and distributing files internally and externally
- Updating databases and keeping company information current
- Sending and receiving mail (via UPS, Fed Ex, USPS) and routing to appropriate parties
- Ordering supplies and maintaining inventory
- Maintaining organizational efforts and filing
- Arrange Domestic and international travel for CEO, including flights, hotels, car service
- Create and Copy DVDs for distribution to networks and clients
- Ordering office supplies
- Opening and closing office daily
- Ad Hoc research
- Occasionally assist with personal errands, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Great writing and editing skills
- Research skills and resourcefulness is a must
- Outgoing, professional phone manner
- Attention to detail, organized
- Pre-emptive/anticipatory work ethic
- Able to maintain confidentiality of information
- Great follow up skills
- Interest in film business
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree preferred in related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an office setting, entertainment experience is a plus
